After a pro-Marco Rubio super PAC released an attack ad against Chris Christie on New Hampshire airwaves, Chris Christie responded by what he called “taking the high road.” He released an ad that urged the Republican Party to remember the main enemy – Hillary Clinton.

There has been no limit to the number ads attacking Hillary Clinton this cycle, but the New Jersey Governor goes a step further by claiming the Republican Party has a “profound moral duty” to keep her out of office.

The High Road? Or Just a Short Bridge (With No Traffic) Over Troubled Waters?

Although in the ad Christie refrains from turning on his GOP opponents, he hasn’t been shy from attacking them in the past. For example, after a litany of attack ads by a pro-Rubio super PAC, Christie told The Washington Post, “I just don’t think Marco Rubio’s going to be able to slime his way to the White House.”

"We Need to Keep Our Eye on the Ball" is part of a small $22,000 ad buy in New Hampshire – the first time the Christie campaign has aired a spot in the Granite State since September 2015, though his super PAC has been hard at work there for months.
