It’s been a little over a week and Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign has been in full motion, with her first stop in Iowa. Highlights from her trip were combined into a 100-second video, showing small, intimate meetings and Clinton listening to the concerns of Iowans.

The Softer Side of Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton is obviously qualified for political office. Think about how many times has she been vetted. As First Lady, U.S. Senator, Secretary of State, and now her second presidential run, we’re pretty confident political consultants and analysts have scrutinized every detail of her resume.

So Clinton’s early campaign videos are not restating her resume detail by detail but are working instead to soften her image.

Will it work? Too early to tell. But this campaign video does a nice job of showing her connecting with real people, speaking about her granddaughter and even having a local Iowan (with an awesome mustache) state that Clinton is “very genuine.”
