Who says lightning doesn’t strike twice? It just did for the No on 67 campaign in Colorado.

This November, voters in Colorado will be voting on the proposed Amendment 67, a so-called “personhood” amendment, which would ban abortions in Colorado, with no exceptions for rape or incest, if Roe v. Wade were ever overturned.

First, the No on 67 political consultants and media team commissioned and cut this compelling and tragic first-person testimonial about the dangers of the “personhood” amendment to the state constitution.

Then, the campaign gets a break when the premium online video service, Hulu, refused to run the spot. Hulu reportedly refused to run the spot because their “advertising bylaws we are unable to accept ads that advocate a controversial political or other public position' which unfortunately No 67 falls under due to the subject matter of abortion."

For political consultants this is just the kind of break you are looking for in the final days of a campaign. Not only does the No on 67 campaign have a powerful spot, but now local news organizations are running it for free asking “why won’t Hulu air this spot?”
